The Main Reasons of U.S. and NATO’s Victory in the Cold War

Abstract

The paper explores the main nature and characters of the cold war and basic geopolitical, economic, information, military, ideological, cultural and other reasons, which determined
the US, NATO and in general victory of the International Democratic Community over communist block and USSR during the “cold war”, which played the decisive role for the
strengthening international security and further enlargement of democracy in the different regions of the World.
